Speculation about who serves as which MEC and who has resigned for what reason is becoming a distraction from clean governance and critical service delivery, which should be the government’s main focus. The Northern Cape faces major challenges, such as a provincial road network that is fast becoming a minefield of potholes and provincial infrastructure assets that are being stripped bare by criminals. Our communities deserve leadership that can give its undivided attention to service delivery instead of being distracted by political sideshows.
