On Saturday, 18 July 2026, the Democratic Alliance (DA) will announce our Mayoral Candidate for Dawid Kruiper Local Municipality.
As Upington continues to decline under a failing local government, residents are confronted by collapsing water and sanitation infrastructure, worsening service delivery, deteriorating living conditions, rising crime, and a municipality that has lost sight of the people it is meant to serve.
Dawid Kruiper deserves better. With its immense potential and natural wealth, the municipality needs leadership that puts residents first, restores accountable governance, and gets Upington working.
On Mandela Day, the DA will announce a proven community leader to get Dawid Kruiper working, and to restore service delivery.
