The Democratic Alliance (DA) in the Northern Cape is ready to host its Provincial Congress in Upington on Saturday, 6 December 2025. For the first time, the Congress will be held in the Dawid Kruiper Municipality.
The Northern Cape Congress is the first in a string of provincial congresses that will take place ahead of the Federal Congress in April next year.
The DA is expecting over 350 DA delegates to be in attendance to elect new leadership that will be responsible for leading the DA in the Northern Cape into the 2026 Local Government Elections. John Steenhuisen, the DA Federal Leader, will be in attendance and will address delegates during the Congress.
