The Democratic Alliance (DA) in the Northern Cape mourns the tragic loss of two SANDF members involved in a defense force vehicle accident yesterday, while enroute from the Lohatla Army base to Kimberley.
It is painful that we have lost more soldiers so soon after the tragic loss of life of SANDF members in the DRC.
We send our heartfelt condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers and wish the 17 soldiers injured in the accident, a speedy recovery.
The country is currently gripped in mourning as we prepare to bid farewell to so many soldiers who have dedicated their time and loyalty to the country, and we stand in unity with the families who are mourning the loss of their loved ones.
